One of the many aspects of our wedding was making it a family event for the whole weekend. Since everyone had to travel, we wanted people to know how much we appreciated the effort. On Thursday evening we planned a pre-wedding party at our cabin. Everyone in town came over for a bunch of yummy food:
Tortilla Roll-ups (Strawberry, Jalapeno, and Chives - surprisingly the Jalapeno were a HUGE hit)
Chips and Dip
Chips and Salsa
Beef Brisket
Rolls
Baked Beans
Strawberries and Cantaloupe
Veggie Pasta Salad
Smores for dessert
It was nice sitting around eating and enjoying the company.
(He's not amused that I'm making him take a picture while he's cooking)
The kids had a blast roasting marshmallows.
We even went for night time boating.
(She's upset - she missed the boat - that and she's SUPER tired)
